As you guys
may know the purpose of this blog is to share our views on places to eat in
Sydney. To make our reviews more interesting we base our reviews on taste,
ambience and price. Taste is obviously important when it comes to food but we
as humans have developed preference for the style in the way food is served and
the environment in which we consume it known as the ambience. Price is the final
factor in our rating system. Each of the ratings are valued out of 5. We hope
everyone enjoys reading our reviews!
The Grounds
of Alexandria Café (Address: 7a/2 Huntley St, Alexandria NSW 2015)
I visited
this trendy destination earlier this week. It’s a beautiful place with an
exciting range of food and drinks available. Despite it being a busy place the wait to be
seated was quite short and the service was good. I chose to try their polenta
chips and potato chips alongside a few pastries. The polenta chips were quite
good and so were the potato chips. The pastries included a caramel cake which
was fluffy and presented well and a refreshing cheesecake. The ambience inside
the café was beautiful with interesting decorations and lights. The prices were
quite premium considering it was a popular place in the $$ range. My overall rating for this
place is 4/5 for taste, 4/5 for ambience and 3/5 for price. The total rating
comes to 11/15. The Grounds of Alexandria is quite a novelty experience with
great food.
I hope
everyone enjoyed reading this short review to inaugurate our blog and stay tuned for more!
