Local Mbassy

Hey guys, its your girl Raman. So recently I was on a study date with a friend at Sydney uni and during our study break we decided to hit up the Local Mbassy. It’s a small modern Australian café with some quality food. I’d been before with a couple of other friends and had been meaning to go back for a while to try their red velvet pancakes and latte. I’m an absolute sucker for anything red velvet really. And let me tell you their pancakes and latte DID NOT fail to deliver. Though the pancakes looked small in quantity they were very filling and I didn’t actually end up eating all of them (the cream served alongside was very rich). My friend on the other hand ordered their Panko Chicken burger, which also tasted AMAZING! Surprisingly it wasn’t just packed up with lots of lettuce. I’d give them a 4/5 for taste as they nailed both our orders.

The café has indoor and outdoor seating but we decided to sit inside, as we really liked the vintage vibe and therefore would rate 4/5 for ambience. The pricing I think was reasonable as it averages to be $55 between two people. So I’d give a 3.5/5 for price, bringing the café at an overall of 11.5/15. I would definitely recommend this to you all and especially to any red velvet lovers out there like myself. Although the café is a bit out of the way, it’s DENFINTELY worth your while. Be sure to check it out and comment below to share your experience. Until next time food lovers, happy eating.

Signing off, Ramanjot
